HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - The IU Indianapolis men's golf team climbed a single spot in the team standings at the Horizon League Golf Championships on Sunday (Apr. 26), moving up to seventh-place through two rounds. The Jaguars carded a second round 301 and sit at 601 after 36 holes.

Senior Noah Kirsch led a balanced effort with a 1-over 73 and junior Brady Schier shot 2-over 74. The three others members of Sunday's lineup, Keaton Parmley, Titus Boswell and Preston Broce, all shot 5-over 77.

The Jags started well with four members of the lineup making birdie on either the first or second hole of the round. However, the Jags were unable to sustain success on the front nine, making just five additional birdies before the turn. Both Kirsch and Schier played the back nine to even par, the former making three birdies to accompany three bogeys. Schier made bogey on No. 10, but played his final eight holes bogey free, including a birdie on No. 16.

Parmley was even through 14 after making a birdie on No. 14, but found trouble on both Nos. 15 and 18 on way to his 77. Both Boswell and Broce's only birdies of the day came on No. 1 as both made four bogeys and a double bogey as part of their rounds.

The Jaguars are tied for third overall with 25 birdies, led by Kirsch and Parmley at seven each. Boswell has a team-high 24 pars, putting him tied for seventh among the field.

Oakland and Purdue Fort Wayne are tied atop the team standings at 584 while Oakland's Rakshit Dahiya and Wright State's Shane Ochs are tied for individual medalist honors at 3-under 141.

The Jaguars will wrap up play, beginning at 12:20 p.m. on Monday.
