INDIANAPOLIS - The IU Indianapolis golf tandem of
Titus Boswell and
Reagan Sohn have been named Academic All-Horizon League honorable mention as chosen by the league's faculty athletic representatives. Honorable mentions are awarded to student-athletes who received at least 25 percent of votes, but did not make the All-Academic Team.
Boswell has maintained a 3.34 grade point average while majoring in Sport Management. He was voted First Team All-Horizon League this past season after he set a new IU Indy single-season record with a 71.67 scoring average this past season, including a school record 20 rounds of par or better. He earned seven top-10 finishes, including four tournament third-place finishes. During the fall, he broke the school record with a 54-hole 201 at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational on Sept. 20-21, finishing that event at 9-under par.
Sohn finished her academic career with a perfect 4.0 grade point average while studying Health Sciences. She was recently honored with the department's Dorothy Cheesman Award at the annual Jag Awards, given to the department's top grade point average for a graduating senior student-athlete. Earlier this spring, Sohn was selected among IU Indy's Top 100 students and then among the university's Top 10 students at the annual IU Indy Honors Convocation. She finished her career with 76 rounds played and an 81.51 scoring average, including playing eight of the team's 12 tournaments this season, despite dealing with an injury throughout the year.
