Noah Kirsch shot 3-over 75.
Both
Brady Schier and
Titus Boswell shot 5-over 77 to round out the group of scorers while true freshman
Jack Scudder came in at 79.
"You kinda gotta scrape it around. Chipping and putting are always the most important thing," Parmley said. "You kind of just gotta hang in there and there are so many birdies to be had on the back side."
Parmley took advantage of scoring chances on the back nine, playing it to 3-under 34. Kirsch made a birdie on No. 10 and finished with eight straight pars while Schier shot 2-over 39 on the back nine.
Boswell and Scudder were cleaner at the turn, but each played the back nine to 4-over 41. Parmley finished with a team-high four birdies and Kirsch and Scudder made two apiece.
Purdue Fort Wayne leads the 10-team field at 3-under 285 and Green Bay is second at 286. Purdue Fort Wayne's Nick Holder is currently atop the leaderboard at 6-under 66 while Green Bay's Mason Haupt shot 4-under 68.
Men's tee times are slated to begin at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.
