IU INDY SIGNS KAMARA MILLS FOR 2025-26 SEASON

Kamara Mills joins the Jags after spending her freshman year at Queens University

INDIANAPOLIS – The IU Indy women's basketball team adds an Indianapolis native to their 2025-26 roster. Kamara Mills is set to join the Jaguars after playing her freshman season at Queens University.

"Her return brings not only elite skill and experience, but also a deep connection to this city that makes this moment even more special. She's a perfect fit for what we're building here, and we can't wait to see her thrive in front of our fans and be a key part of our team's success moving forward!"
 
Mills, a 5-9 guard from Indy, played in 23 games with three starts with the Royals. She averaged 2.3 points and 1.1 rebounds while shooting 28.8 percent from the field. Mills scored a career-high 17 points and brought down 10 rebounds at Lipscomb (2/15/2/5) marking her first collegiate double-double.
 
Before her freshman season at Queens, Mills completed her high school career at Lawrence North. While at Lawrence North, she averaged 8.2 points and two steals and became a Sectional champion, Regional champion and Conference champion. She also competed in the Final Four of the State Championship tournament and was ranked the No. 8 shooting guard in the state of Indiana.
 
Mills will return to the Indianapolis area and join the Jaguars prior to the 2025-26 season.
