INDIANAPOLIS – IU Indy women's basketball announced the addition of Reagan Sipla to the program for the 2026-27 season.
Sipla, a 6-foot-1 guard, will join the Jaguars as a junior after spending two seasons at Quinnipiac. She redshirted her freshman campaign before appearing in limited action as a sophomore, averaging 0.9 points and 0.7 rebounds in 2.5 minutes per game.
"Reagan Sipla is a tremendous addition to our program," said head coach
Kate Bruce. "She's a dynamic shooter who can really stretch the floor and create space for others, and her versatility allows her to impact the game in a variety of ways. What stands out just as much is her approach, she's a hard worker with a competitive mindset and great feel for the game. She's a natural fit for what we're building here, both on and off the court."
Prior to her time at Quinnipiac, Sipla enjoyed a decorated high school career at St. Charles North High School. A four-year letterwinner and three-year team captain, she established herself as one of the program's all-time greats. Sipla finished her career with 1,336 points, ranking third in school history, and holds the record for most three-pointers made in a single season by a junior.
Sipla helped lead St. Charles North to an impressive 75 percent winning percentage during her four-year career, along with two regional championships. Individually, she earned unanimous All-Conference honors as both a junior and senior, along with All-Conference recognition as a sophomore. She was a two-time All-State selection by both the Associated Press and coaches poll and twice earned All-Area honors.
Sipla will join the Jaguars ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
