INDIANAPOLIS - The IU Indianapolis Athletics Department announced its Spring Academic Advisors List on Friday (May 23), recognizing student-athletes who earned a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the recently completed semester. Departmentally, IU Indy student-athletes achieved a 3.53 grade point average during the spring, marking the 33rd straight semester in which the department earned a 3.0 GPA or better. 

All total, 212 student-athletes were honored, representing nearly 86 percent of the student-athlete population. Head coach Damion Dennis' women's swimming and diving squad had the department's top grade point average at 3.732 while Jamie Broce's women's golf team was second at 3.728. Bren Vasalakis' men's tennis team was third in the department with a 3.68 mark. 

In addition, 52 student-athletes recorded a perfect 4.0 GPA, as noted by asterisks (**).
