INDIANAPOLIS – The IU Indy men's tennis team will host in state rival Butler on Friday, February 28. The Jags and Bulldogs are set for a 1:30 PM first serve at West Indy Racquet Club.
 
The Jags enter the match 5-6 overall with wins over UIC, Eastern Illinois, Illinois State, Lipscomb and Marian. IU Indy most recently fell on the road to Ball State. The Jags earned the doubles point and freshman Vincent Nauta earned the sole singles point for the Jags.
 
Butler is 6-5 on the season with their most recent win over Purdue Northwest. They defeated Purdue Northwest with a score of 4-2.
 
IU Indy and Butler faced off last season with the Bulldogs taking the slight edge at 4-3 on April 3, 2024. The Bulldogs hold the overall record over the Jags, 29-2.
 
First serve of doubles play is set for 1:30 PM.
