INDIANAPOLIS – IU Indy basketball junior guard/forward Hailey Smith has been named this week's 92c Athlete of the Week following her performance in the loss to Green Bay last Wednesday (Dec. 10).

Smith played 28 minutes and totaled 10 points in the contest. She was active on both ends of the floor, adding two assists, three rebounds, and three steals while providing consistent energy throughout the game.

Smith has appeared in all 10 games this season, earning a start in each. She is averaging 29.0 minutes per game, 10.2 points per game, a team-high 6.3 rebounds per game, and a team-best 2.1 assists per game.

This marks Smith's first 92c Athlete of the Week honor this season and the third overall for the basketball team. Smith and the Jaguars will host IU Columbus on Wednesday (Dec. 17) at 6:30 p.m. inside The Jungle. Tickets will be available online or at the door, and the game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
