INDIANAPOLIS - The IU Indianapolis women's basketball is set to host the Green Bay Phoenix on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 6:30 P.M. inside The Jungle.
 
IU Indy is coming off of a ­­­­69-74 loss against the Detroit Mercy Titans. The loss against the Titans puts the Jags at 3-6 overall and 0-2 in Horizon League play so far this season. The Jags had four double-digit scorers with Sydney Bolden leading with 15 points. Nevaeh Foster followed with 12 points, Hailey Smith and Camron Blank had 11 points each. Detroit Mercy took an early lead finishing the first quarter 21-13, IU Indy won the second quarter (21-19) however Detroit Mercy maintained the lead 40-32. In the third quarter the Jags' defense tightened, ending the quarter with a 50-49 score. In the final period, the Titans regained their lead finishing 74-69.
 
Green Bay is coming off of a 56-47 victory against Youngstown State. This victory put them at 7-3 overall and 2-0 in Horizon League play. Senior Meghan Schultz led the Phoenix with 22 points and eight rebounds. Senior Jenna Guyer and Sophomore Gracie Grzesk followed with 11 points each; Senior Maddy Skorupski followed with 10 points. Green Bay had 34 points from in the paint and 12 points off of turnovers.
 
IU Indy and Green Bay have gone head-to-head 19 times with the most recent being Feb. 2, 2025,  when the Jags fell 54-76. The Jags shot 34.0 percent from the field and 21.1 percent from beyond the arc. Ultimately, the Jags could not compete with the Phoenix's offense. Green Bay finished with three double-digit scorers. Natalie McNeal and Cassie Schiltz led with 15 points each; Jenna Guyer followed with ten points. Green Bay shot 56.9 percent from the field and 45.5 percent from beyond the arc.
