INDIANAPOLIS - The IU Indianapolis women's basketball season officially tips off on Monday (Nov. 3) when the Jaguars take on the Indiana State Sycamores. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 PM inside the Jungle. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+. Tickets are available for purchase online.
The Jaguar's head coach
Kate Bruce is in her fourth season at IU Indy. She holds an overall record of 33-57 at IU Indy and a 26-34 record in Horizon League play. Bruce came to IU Indy from Walsh University where she was the program's all-time winningest head coach. She guided the Cavaliers to four consecutive NCAA Tournament berths. Bruce held a 134-43 record at Walsh University including a Sweet 16 appearance during the 2021-22 season.
Coach Bruce returns five from last year's IU Indy roster with Neveah Foster (9.8 points/game) leading the returning group.
Destini Craig,
Camron Blank and
Kaylin Moorehead also saw time on the court despite battling injuries while
Denali Craig-Edwards looks to make her Jaguar debut after a redshirt year.
Bruce not only introduced three new staff members in Mary Evans, Marwan Miller and Katie Kollar but also brought in seven transfers and three freshmen.

Hannah Blake returns to the staff for IU Indy and was promoted to Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator.
IU Indy is 7-9 all-time against Indiana State. The Jaguars have taken the last four matchups against the Sycamores with the most recent meeting ending in a 64-59 Jaguars' victory on Dec. 3, 2018.

The Jaguars will next travel to Evanston, Illinois to take on Northwestern on Wednesday (Nov. 5) at 8 PM. The game will be broadcast on B1G+.
