WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TRAVELS TO EVANSVILLE

The Jags will face the Purple Aces tomorrow night (Thursday, Nov. 20)

EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The IU Indianapolis women's basketball team will travel to take on the Evansville Aces on Nov. 20 at 7:00 P.M. ET. Currently, IU Indy is 2-2 overall going into the matchup.
 
IU Indy is coming off of a 75-67 victory against Bradley on Nov. 15. The Jaguars shot 52 points in the lane and forced 24 turnovers. Nevaeh Foster led the team with 28 points, four steals, and seven rebounds. Olivia Smith followed with 14 points and Destini Craig added 12 points. Bradley could not overcome IU Indy's defense which led the Jags' 13 fast-break points to seal their victory.
 
The Aces are coming off of a 60-69 loss against the Wright State Raiders on Nov. 16. Wright State came out strong in the first quarter scoring 22 points, leaving the Aces 16 points behind. Evansville fought back, outscoring the Raiders in the remaining three quarters. Camryn Runner led the team with 16 points. However, the Aces came up short against Wright State, dropping to 0-4 overall. 
 
IU Indy and the Aces have gone head-to-head 15 times; the most recent being Nov. 5, 2024, when the Jaguars won 101-76. IU Indy forced 23 turnovers, including 16 steals. The Jags hold a four-game winning streak against Evansville and look to extend it to five after this week.  
 
Thursday's game will be aired on ESPN+. Tip-off is set for 7:00 P.M. ET in Evansville's Meeks Family Fieldhouse.
