INDIANAPOLIS – IU Indy women's basketball junior Nevaeh Foster, from South Bend, Indiana, has been named this week's 92c Athlete of the Week after an impressive performance in the Jaguars' 75-67 victory over Bradley University.
Foster led all scorers with 28 points, shooting 12-for-18 from the field and a perfect 3-for-3 at the free-throw line. She also made an impact defensively with four steals, attacked the glass for seven rebounds, and added two assists while helping guide the Jags to the win.
Foster is the team's leading scorer with 56 points on the season and currently averages 14.0 points per game. She is tied for second on the team in steals with nine, tied for first in assists with seven, and ranks second in rebounds with 25. In the Horizon League, Foster stands sixth in scoring, tied for second in free-throw percentage at .909, and sixth in steals with an average of 2.3 per game.
This marks Foster's first 92c Athlete of the Week honor of the season and the first weekly award for the women's basketball team. Foster and the Jaguars will travel to the University of Evansville this Thursday to take on the Purple Aces on Nov. 20 at 5:00 PM ET. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
