INDIANAPOLIS- IU Indy's volleyball freshman libero Laura Roeder earns this week's 92c Athlete of the Week. She helped the Jaguars go undefeated last week against Robert Morris, winning the first set on Friday (Oct.10, 3-1) and Saturday (Oct.11, 3-2). With those wins this past week it has led the Jaguars to a five-game win streak in Horizon League play. 

In their match on Friday, she had a  career-high 28 digs in their win at Robert Morris, as well as a career-high eight assists, and she followed that performance with 22 digs in Saturday's 3-2 win at Robert Morris, as well as six assists. And she currently sits in sixth place in the Horizon League in digs per set with an average of 4.29. And is first for the team in service aces with 19 and is ranked 10th in the Horizon League with an average of .26.

This is Roeder's first 92c Athlete of the Week title and the fourth for the IU Indy volleyball team! The Jaguars hope to keep the five-game conference streak alive against Youngstown State this Friday (Oct. 17) at 6:00 PM and Saturday (Oct. 18) at 2:00 PM inside The Jungle. Tickets will be available online and will be live-streamed on ESPN+.
