Grace Purichia has been named #HLVB Player of the Week for the second week in a row and her fourth time this season. Purichia helped the Jaguars to back-to-back wins this past weekend over Robert Morris to earn the honor.
Offensively, the Jaguars hit .256 for the weekend with Purichia orchestrating the attack.
Individually, she averaged 11.8 assists per set in the two matches combined as well as 3.8 digs per set. She collected 45 assists, 15 digs, four kills and one service ace in the four-set win over Robert Morris on Friday (Oct. 10) and followed with 61 assists, 19 digs and six kills in a 3-2 win on Saturday (Oct. 11).
For the season, Purichia leads the Horizon League and ranks seventh nationally at 10.82 assists per set and has an output of 11.92 assists per set in league matches. This week's Horizon League Player of the Week award marks Purichia's fourth of the season.
