INDIANAPOLIS – The IU Indy Athletics Department and Head Coach Kate Bruce announce the addition of Tyler Johnson as Video Coordinator. Johnson joins the Jags after spending the last two seasons as a graduate assistant at Ohio University.
 
"We are excited about the addition of Tyler to our staff," said Head Coach Bruce. "He is very intelligent, creative, and has a true passion for the game. He will be a great asset to our team."
 
Johnson spent the last two seasons with the Ohio Bobcats as a graduate assistant. He assisted with recruiting efforts by maintaining the database and aided in practice set up. Johnson also tracked defensive stats, supported the coaching staff with day-to-day tasks and created graphics for recruiting efforts. Johnson completed his master's degree in Coaching Education from Ohio in the spring of 2024.
 
Prior to his time at Ohio, Johnson was a men's basketball team manager at the University of Akron. Johnson graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sports Management from the University of Akron in 2022.
