Box Score LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The IUPUI men's tennis team fell to Louisville in Saturday's road match, 7-0. The Jags will now return to Indy to host Eastern Kentucky next Saturday, March 2.
The Louisville Cardinals took the early lead, earning the doubles point.
Kamil Kozerski and
Blessing Benibo fell in the number one spot, 6-2 while
Emil Jankowski and
Will Thurin dropped the number two doubles match, 6-1.
Noah Viste and
Steven Paz were behind 4-3 when doubles play went final.
In singles, the Jags fell in all six matches. Kozerski dropped the number one match, 6-2, 6-2 while Jankowski fell at number two singles, 6-0, 6-4. Viste lost in the number three spot, 6-1, 6-2 and Paz fell in the number four spot, 6-3, 6-4.
Nate Day fell at number five singles, 6-2, 6-2 while
Eli Mercer rounded out the lineup in the number six spot, falling 6-3, 6-2.
With the loss, the Jags fall to 4-8 on the season. They next host Eastern Kentucky on Saturday, March 2 with first serve set for 2:30 PM.
