INDIANAPOLIS – The IU Indianapolis volleyball team saw two of their student-athletes named to the CSC Academic All-District Team. Elle Patterson and Kate White each earned the honor as announced by College Sports Communicators, CSC on Tuesday, December 17. The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
 
Elle Patterson, a sophomore from Greencastle, Indiana, led the team in total kills with 389 while starting in 31 matches. She totaled 27 service aces and 303 digs while also maintaining a 3.81 GPA in Biology.
 
Kate White, a sophomore from Cincinnati, Ohio, also made the All-District team after posting a 3.66 GPA in Business. She made appearances in 29 matches, totaling 95 kills and 126 digs.
 
Patterson and White along with 20 other student-athletes, including honorees from Milwaukee, Oakland, Purdue Fort Wayne, Robert Morris and Youngstown State, represented the Horizon League.
