INDIANAPOLIS – IUPUI volleyball head coach Andrew Kroger announced the hiring of Haley Cowart as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator on Thursday (January 18). Cowart brings eight years of coaching experience at all age levels to the Jaguar program.
 
"I am thrilled to be joining the IUPUI volleyball program," said Cowart. "There is a huge opportunity sitting in the heart of Indianapolis with motivated and energized coaches and staff, and as well as the talented players."
 
Before joining the Jaguars, she coached at Rev Volleyball Academy and The Academy Volleyball Club.
 
Previously, Cowart worked at an environmental nonprofit in Indianapolis, White River Alliance, as an educational and outreach coordinator for three years managing all social media, marketing and outreach, recreational programming, fundraising, and more.
 
Cowart graduated from Butler University in 2020 with an Environmental Studies and Communication degree. While at Butler she played club volleyball and won a NCVF national championship in 2017.
 
"I can't wait to help take this program to the next level while also growing the local support of women's volleyball of Indianapolis."
