YORKTOWN, Ind. - IUPUI senior Shelby Busker finished off a top-five finish at this week's Brittany Kelly Classic at The Players Club, closing the two-day tournament at 219 (71-73-75) to tie for fifth among the 81-player field. The Jaguars turned in a final round 305 and finished the tournament in sixth-place at 910 (300-305-305) for the week.

Busker made a pair of birdies in her final round 75 to lead the Jaguars on the final day and ultimately earned her ninth career top-10 finish. Classmate Annaliese Fox opened with a birdie as part of her final round 76 and both Madeleine Pape and Reagan Sohn shot 77 in their final rounds. Freshman Nina Wojtczak fired a final round 81 to round out the Jaguars' lineup.

"It was a great time out there the past two days. I think the most important part of this golf game is to keep your calm even when you aren't playing the best or when you had a bad hole," Fox said. "Yesterday, I beat myself up and got into my head way too much. But I told myself today that no matter what happens, you have 10 seconds to be mad and move on!"

Busker and Fox both made early birdies at the start of the round while Pape and Sohn each had birdies on their final holes of the tournament. Busker finished with a team-high nine birdies, feasting on the par-3's and par-4's for the week. Sohn ranked among the field's best on the par-5's for the week, playing them to 3-under, including an eagle on Monday. Fox and Pape each made six birdies for the week and tied with a team-high 34 pars over 54 holes.

Pape ended the tournament tied for 13th at 226 (76-73-77) and Fox tied for 15th at 227 (72-79-76). Sohn climbed five spots on the tournament's final day to finish 59th at 238 (81-80-77) and Wojtczak closed out her collegiate debut at 246 (84-81-81).

Ball State earned the team title at 875, easily outpacing second-place UIC by 14 shots. UIC's Dasa Urbankova collected medalist honors at 5-under 211.

The Jaguars will return to action on Oct. 2-3 when they participate in the Butler Fall Invitational at Highland Country Club in Indianapolis.
