INDIANAPOLIS – Eight Jaguars were named to the Horizon League Swim and Dive All-Academic Team as announced by the league office today. Lillian Brandt, Emma Theobald and Emmaleigh Zietlow represent the women's team and Kevin Burke, Dane Charleston, Nick Dibley, Alex Scott and Wes Wickens earn honors for the men's team.
 
Sophomore Lilly Brandt scored a total of 179 points at the Horizon League Championships with four relays and three individual races, placing second in the 50 free, fourth in the 100 fly and sixth in the 100 free. She was named to the Horizon League Honor Roll and the IUPUI Academic Advisor's List for maintaining a 4.00 studying Health Sciences.
 
Emma Theobald holds a 3.804 GPA while majoring in Psychology. The senior scored a total of 186 points at the Championships in four relays and three individual races, placing second in the 200 back, second in the 400 IM and third in the 200 IM. She was named to the Horizon League Honor Roll and the IUPUI Academic Advisor's List.
 
Sophomore Emmaleigh Zietlow joins them on the women's All-Academic Team with a 3.765 GPA in Psychology. She was named Horizon League Women's Co-Swimmer of the Meet with 60 individual points and three first place finishes, finishing first in the 200 free, 500 free and 1650 free. Zietlow earned Horizon League Swimmer of the Week twice this season and was named to the Horizon League Honor Roll.
 
On the men's side, five Jags earn the honors. Dane Charleston holds a 3.884 GPA while studying Mechanical Engineering and was named Horizon League Swimmer of the Week once this season. He placed fifth in the 200 back, sixth in the 100 back and eighth in the 200 IM at the Horizon League Championships scoring 38 points for the Jags. The sophomore was named to the Horizon League Honor Roll and the IUPUI Academic Advisor's List.
 
Kevin Burke earns the honors after maintaining a 3.913 GPA in Biomedical Engineering. He helped lead the Jags to a runner-up finish at the Horizon League Championships with a total of 194 points with four relays and three individual races, finishing third in the 50 free, fourth in the 100 fly and fourth in the 100 free. The senior was named to the Horizon League Honor Roll and the IUPUI Academic Advisor's List.
 
Senior Nick Dibley holds a 3.982 GPA in Biomedical Informatics and scored 32 points at the Horizon League Championships. He placed second in the 400 IM, third in the 200 fly and seventh in the 500 free. He was also named to the Horizon League Honor Roll and the IUPUI Academic Advisor's List.
 
Diver Alex Scott earned a spot on the list after holding a 3.839 GPA while studying Mechanical Engineering. The sophomore earned 16 points in the men's 3-meter dive with a third-place finish at the Horizon League Championships. He also placed second in the 1-meter dive scoring 17 points. Scott was named to the Horizon League Honor Roll and the IUPUI Academic Advisor's List.
 
With a 3.874 GPA in Finance, Wes Wickens earned his spot on the All-Academic Team. Wickens scored a total of 167 points at the Championships with four relays and three individual races, finishing 10^th in the 100 fly, 10^th in the 100 free and 12^th in the 50 free. The senior was also named to the Horizon League Honor Roll and the IUPUI Academic Advisor's List.
 
Brandt, Theobald and Zietlow were three of the 16 member team for the women while Burke, Charleston, Dibley, Scott and Wickens were five out of the 15 members to make the men's team.
