SWIM AND DIVE SWEEPS WEEKEND DUALS

The Jags defeated Green Bay, Cleveland State and Milwaukee in both men’s and women’s swim and dive

INDIANAPOLIS - IU Indianapolis turned in a dominant performance at the IU Natatorium this weekend, racing against Cleveland State, Milwaukee, and Green Bay. The Jaguars won all six of the dual meets, with the men and women sweeping all three opponents.
 
On the men's side, IU Indy posted decisive team scores, topping Milwaukee (248-89), Green Bay (285-51), and Cleveland State (263-84). The women defeated Milwaukee (224-113) and Green Bay (277-71) while edging Cleveland State in a tight battle, 186-162.
 
Individually, IU Indy was fueled by standout swims across the lineup in Saturday's two sessions. Nathan Rariden earned two individual wins with first-place finishes in the 200 free and 100 free. Zach Drotar took the 400 IM title while Youssef Magdy won the 1000 free. IU Indy went 1-2-3 in the 100 fly with Hugo Arteaga earning the top spot followed by Isaac Wilson and Noah Van Zuidam. The Jags earned another 1-2-3 finish in the 200 back with Grayson Tidwell, Seth Cannon and Jack Gallob earned the top three spots. They also swept the top three spots in the 200 fly with Will Gorman, Wilson and Carson Szotek recorded the top three times.
 
Logan Kelly, in his first full weekend back in the pool for the Jags earned wins in the 100 breast and 200 breast. He broke his own program record in the 100 breast with a time of 51.56.
 
On the boards for the men's team, the Jags dominate the leader board, taking the top four spots. Sebastian Otero earned the win with Blake Vanderjeugdt, Evan Butcher and Gavin Day following in that order.
 
On the women's side, Addy Hirbrunner recorded the top time in the 400 IM. Bella Tufts earned the first-place finish in the 200 free with Samantha Lee following in second.
 
With strong showings across both the men's and women's squads, the Jaguars showcased their depth, speed, and early-season form, positioning themselves for a strong 2025-26 campaign.
