INDIANAPOLIS - IU Indianapolis made a statement on the first day of its home meet against Cleveland State, Milwaukee, and Green Bay, collecting multiple event wins in both swimming and diving.

The Jaguars opened the night with a victory in the women's 200 medley relay, as
Addy Hirsbrunner,
Victoria Surdyka,
Dani Stemper and
Luca McGee combined for a winning time of 1:42.74. The men followed suit, with
Grayson Tidwell,
Logan Kelly,
Isaac Wilson and
Keaton Barwick racing to first in 1:27.60. IU Indy also claimed third in the event with another strong relay squad.

Distance swimmers added depth with top finishes in the 500 free.
Samantha Lee placed second in the women's race (5:07.99), while
Michael Esdon led the Jaguar men with a third-place finish in 4:34.09, just ahead of teammates
Youssef Magdy (4:35.46) and
Nathan Rariden (4:35.60).

IU Indy then swept the top three spots in the women's 200 IM, as Hirsbrunner (2:07.28), Surdyka (2:09.17), and Stemper (2:10.00) went 1-2-3. On the men's side,
Zach Drotar touched first in 1:49.87 followed by
Noah Van Zuidam (1:51.28).

In the sprints,
Luca McGee placed second in the women's 50 free (23.46), and IU Indy's men dominated with Barwick (20.58), Shane Tebeest (20.70), and Kelly (20.76) finishing 2-3-4.

The Jaguars were equally dominate on the boards.
Sebastian Otero claimed the men's 1-meter title with a score of 323.85, leading a top-three sweep with
Evan Butcher (291.35) and
Blake Vanderjeugdt (288.10). On the women's side,
Alaina Heyde won the 3-meter event (250.65), with freshmen
Arianna Pagel (215.35) and
Lindi Jenkins (205.20) also finishing in the top six.
