Box Score WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The IUPUI men's tennis team fell to Purdue on Saturday afternoon, 5-2. Alex Jochim and Noah Viste each recorded singles wins in the loss.
 
Purdue secured the doubles point to lead off the match and take the early 1-0 lead. Kamil Kozerski and Tom Ciszewski lost at number two doubles, 6-2 while Will Thurin and Noah Viste fell at number three doubles, 6-2.
 
In singles play, the Jags recorded two wins with Jochim and Viste coming out on top. Jochim won the number one singles match in three sets after losing the first set, 4-6, 6-2, 10-3. Viste cruised to a number five singles win in two sets, 6-2, 6-2.
 
Ciszewski played in the number two spot and fell, 6-3, 6-1 while Kozerski lost the number three match, 6-4, 6-4. Colton Morehart fell at number four singles, 6-4, 6-1 and Nate Day lost in the number six spot, 6-3, 7-6 (5).
 
The Jags will return to Indy to host Xavier at West Indy Racquet Club on Friday, February 3 with first serve at 12 PM.
