Box Score INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI men's tennis team hosted Butler for their home opener on Monday afternoon. The Bulldogs defeated the Jags, 7-0. Tom Ciszewski and Blessing Benibo each took their matches to three sets.
 
Although it was a close battle, the Jags fell in two out of three doubles matches sealing the doubles point for Butler. Alex Jochim and Emil Jankowski fell at number one double, 6-3 and Benibo and Colton Morehart fell at number two doubles, 7-6. Ciszewski and Kamil Kozerski's number two doubles match went unfinished.
 
After a tough doubles battle, the Jaguars fell in the six singles matches. Jochim fell at number one singles, 6-3, 6-4 and Kozerski fell in the number two spot, 6-2, 7-6 while Morehart fell at the number four singles, 7-6, 6-4. Jankowski fell in the number five spot, 6-4, 7-6. Ciszewski fought to three sets but fell, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 while Benibo also took his match to three sets but fell, 0-6, 3-6, 3-6.
 
The Jaguars will be on the road at Illinois State on Sunday, January 22 for a first serve at 1:00 PM.
