Box Score CINCINNATI, Ohio - Freshman Kamil Kozerski earned a No. 5 singles win in two sets as the IUPUI men's tennis team fell to Xavier on Friday afternoon, 6-1.
 
Kozerski defeated Xavier's Marco Pennelli in two sets, with a tiebreaker in the first set, 7-6 (6), 6-3. This marks Kozerski's third singles win of the spring season.
 
Xavier earned the doubles point to start the match off as Xavier defeated the partnership of Alex Jochim and Emil Jankowski as well as the team of Sean Bailey and Noah Viste. Blessing Benibo and Colton Morehart were tied at six with Xavier's Brett Winters and Cambell Nakayama when the match went unfinished.
 
Nate Day fell at No. 6 singles to Pascal Mosberger in two sets followed by Morehart who fought hard but fell, 6-3, 6-4, at No. 2 singles. Xavier sealed the match point with a win at No. 1 singles when Diego Nava defeated IUPUI's Jochim, 7-5, 6-2.
 
The Jags host Eastern Illinois tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 PM at the West Indy Racquet Club.
