INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI men's tennis team returns to Indianapolis this week when they face the UIndy Greyhounds on Wednesday (Feb. 2) at 4:00 PM and host Illinois State on Saturday (Feb. 5) at 2:30 PM.
The Jags are coming off a tough weekend on the road, falling 7-0 at Dayton, 4-2 vs. Chicago State and 6-1 against Purdue. Freshman
Nate Day earned a huge singles win at Purdue and freshman
Kamil Kozerski earned his first singles win of the spring season vs. Chicago State. Senior
Sean Bailey also earned a singles win during IUPUI's match vs. Chicago State.
This match will mark the start of UIndy's spring season but UIndy defeated the Jags in 2020, 5-2. Illinois State is currently 0-6 to start the spring and will take on Big Ten school Illinois on Friday before heading to Indianapolis for the Saturday matchup.
The Jags will face UIndy at the UIndy Tennis Center, then turn around and host the Redbirds at the West Indy Racquet Club.
