INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI women's basketball team will host Northern Illinois for an afternoon matchup on Wednesday at 1 PM. This marks the seventh meeting for the Jags and Huskies with IUPUI coming out on top in the last meeting, 85-61.
Destiny Perkins runs the point for IUPUI, averaging 13.1 points and is second in the Horizon League with 3.7 assists per game.
Jazmyn Turner adds 12.4 points per game and
Natalie Andersen adds 10.0 points.
IUPUI has found success beyond the arc with the league's second-best 33.6 percent from long-range averaging 8.4 threes per game. Six players have hit at least seven three-pointers this year with Perkins pacing the way with 18 made three-pointers, going 18-for-51 (35.3 percent) from deep.

NIU was on an eight-game win streak until SIUE snapped their streak defeating the Huskies, 62-60. A'Jah Davis had her sixth straight double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. NIU defeated IUPUI's Horizon League foe, Detroit Mercy, 65-63.
IUPUI and NIU will face off on ESPN+ with tipoff at 1 PM.
