YPSILANTI, Mich. – The IUPUI women's basketball team looks to extend their three-game win streak on Wednesday when they travel to Eastern Michigan for a 2:00 PM tip. The Jags last faced Eastern Michigan in 2000 when the Eagles defeated IUPUI, 77-70.
IUPUI (3-2) dropped 97 points on Eastern Michigan's MAC foe, Ohio to seal their third consecutive win on Sunday, 97-86. Six Jags posted double-digits with
Destiny Perkins leading the way with her first double-double of the season with 20 points and 10 assists.
Rachel Kent also recorded her first double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Jazmyn Turner holds a team-high 12.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game to lead the Jags this season.
Eastern Michigan enters the week 3-0 with wins over Lindenwood, SIUE and Florida A&M. Four Eagles posted double figures in their most recent win over Florida A&M.
Wednesday's matchup will mark just the third time the Jags and Eagles have met with both teams earning a win.
The Jaguars will look to continue their win streak at 2:00 PM on ESPN+.
