Sean Bailey picked up a singles win of the Jags in the match.
IUPUI dropped the doubles point, losing both the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles match by an equal score of 6-1. Bailey and
Ethan Mardanus-Budiono were leading their No. 2 doubles match by a score of 3-2 when doubles play was ended.
In singles play, three straight-set wins for the Cardinals at No. 6, No. 1 and No. 2 gave Ball State its fourth point of the match.
Eric Hollingsworth went three sets at No. 5 before falling 2-6, 6-2, 2-6. The lone point for IUPUI came at the No. 3 singles spot with
Sean Bailey winning in straight sets. Bailey won the first set 6-3 before taking the second set in a tie break 7-6 (5).
IUPUIÂ will be back on the court at Northern Illinois on Sunday (March 7) for a double header against the Huskies.
