INDIANAPOLIS - After picking up a win over the weekend, IUPUI men's tennis was rewarded with both weekly awards from the Horizon League, the league announced on Wednesday (Feb. 10). Ethan Mardanus-Budiono was named Singles Player of the Week, while the duo of Alex Jochim and Colton Morehart was named Doubles Team of the Week.

Mardanus-Budiono helped IUPUI pick up its first win of the season, winning the No. 1 singles match against Marian in quick order. Mardanus-Budiono earned a 6-1, 6-2 win at the No. 1 spot to earn the clinching point in the match for IUPUI.

Jochim and Morehart picked up a 7-5 win in the No. 1 doubles match against Marian in the Jags 6-1 win over the Knights. After the Jags dropped the No. 3 match, the junior duo clinched their win to even the doubles competition.

IUPUI will be back in action this weekend with a match at Austin Peay on Saturday (Feb. 13).
