DAYTON, Ohio - The IUPUI men's tennis team capped play at this weekend's UD Hidden Dual on Saturday (Oct. 2), collecting a pair of singles wins and two doubles wins at UD's Graul Tennis Complex.
Colton Morehart and
Will Thurin were both winners in their singles matches and Morehart also teamed with
Sean Bailey on a doubles win. The tandem of
Canaan Sellers and
Nathan Day also earned a doubles win earlier in the day.
Sellers and Day coasted to a doubles win over Dayton's team of Joe DeMarco and Davis Phillips by a 6-2 score for their first win of the year. Against Xavier, Bailey and Morehart combined on a 6-3 win over Diego Nava and Cambell Nakayama.
In singles play, Morehart won a grinder against Northern Kentucky's Santiago Casamayor, 1-6, 6-4, 10-7. Meanwhile, Thurin made quick work of his opponent, Vincent Knott, breezing to a 6-1, 6-2 win. Sellers lost a tight match in straight sets, 6-4, 7-5.

Bren Vasalakis opted to play
Alex Jochim,
Blessing Benibo,
Emil Jankowski and
Kamil Kozerski at the recent ITA Championships in Tennessee. IUPUI will round out the fall schedule on Oct. 15-17 when the Jaguars compete at the Ball State Invitational.
