Box Score MILWAUKEE, WIS. – IUPUI men's team saw a doubles' match won by its newest members and a singles win at No. 3 but fell 4-1 to Marquette on Saturday (Jan. 3).

IUPUI (0-2) picked up a win in the No. 3 doubles point with the duo of Emil Jankowski and Blessing Benibo picking up a 6-3 win. The Jags lost the No. 1 doubles point 6-4 and fell in a close 7-6 match at No. 2 as Marquette secured the doubles point.

In singles play, Alex Jochim earned a win 6-3, 6-3 to win IUPUI's point in the match but Marquette made quick work at No. 1 (6-3, 6-1), No. 4 (6-2, 6-2) and No. 5 (6-0, 6-2). In the No. 2 match, Sean Bailey lost his first set 6-4 and was trailing 5-4 in the second. Colton Morehart, who won a singles match in the first match of the season, lost his first set 6-4 but held a 4-3 lead in set two when the match was called.
