WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – IUPUI men's tennis will travel up to Purdue for two matches on Saturday (Feb. 8). The Jags will start their day taking on Chicago State before playing Purdue to finish up the night.
IUPUI (1-5) is currently on a four-match losing streak after dropping a 5-2 decision to UIndy in its last match. Sean Bailey was a part of both points for the Jags, teaming with Ethan Mardanus-Budiono to help win the doubles point and earning a singles win.
Bailey and Mardanus-Budiono each have two singles wins on the dual season to lead IUPUI. The duo is also leading the Jags in doubles play with a 3-1 record.
ABOUT CHICAGO STATE
IUPUI will take on the Cougars at 3 p.m. ET. Chicago State is currently 0-5 on the season and will play Purdue earlier in the day before taking on the Jags. The closest contest for the Cougars was a 3-4 loss at Saint Louis. Last season, IUPUI beat Chicago State 5-2.

IUPUI and Purdue will meet up at 7 p.m. ET and Purdue is riding a three-game win streak coming in to the weekend. Athell Bennett leads the Boilermakers with a 3-2 record in dual matches with all of his wins coming at No. 1. Purdue beat IUPUI last year 6-1.
