INDIANAPOLIS – IUPUI men's tennis begins its season on the road, taking on Northwestern on Sunday (Jan. 18). The match will begin at 5:30 p.m. against the Wildcats.
First year head coach
Bren Vasalakis returns the majority of a roster that earned a win in last season's Horizon League Tournament. The roster features a strong four-man junior class as well as reigning Horizon League Freshman of the Year

ABOUT THE JAGS
IUPUI finished the 2018-19 season with a 14-11 record and 3-3 mark in conference play. Three Jaguars finished the year with double-digit wins in dual matches as
Eric Hollingsworth went 15-8,
Ethan Mardanus-Budiono went 11-6 and current assistant coach
Bradley Luetschwager went 10-10.
In doubles play, Mardanus-Budiono and
Sean Bailey combined for the best record on the team with a 12-8 record in dual matches.
ABOUT THE WILDCATS
Northwestern is currently 1-1 on the season and will play Memphis before taking on the Jags on Sunday. The Wildcats beat Illinois State to start the season before losing to NC State. Trice Pickens is the only player for the Wildcats currently at 2-0 on the season.
