ROCHESTER, Mich. – IUPUI women's basketball embarks on its final road trip of the regular season beginning with a matchup against Oakland on Thursday (Feb. 14) at 7 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.

IUPUI continued its impressive home winning streak after wins against Youngstown State and Cleveland State. In the win against the Vikings, IUPUI won its sixth-straight game in the Jungle by 20 or more points, a school record. The Jags were led in the game by Sydney Roule, who scored a career-high 15 points, hitting a career-high five threes. Roule became the first Jaguar to hit five threes in a game this season. Fellow sophomore Morgan Allen also scored a career-high, pouring in 14 points.

Defense has been the calling card for IUPUI recently as the Jags held Cleveland State to 36 points and had held Youngstown State to 44 points the game before. It is the first time since February of 2013 that the Jaguars had held back-to-back opponents to under 45 points. The Jaguars are now 11-1 and 7-0 in Horizon League play when holding opponents under 60 points.

IUPUI will be looking to end a two-game road losing streak when they head to Oakland, a team they have beaten in five-straight games. In the first matchup against the Golden Grizzlies, IUPUI took home and 82-53 win as the Jags took control in the third quarter, blowing the game open with a 19-5 advantage after halftime.

Macee Williams finished with a game-high 22 points with an efficient 7-for-10 performance from the field and going a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line. Katelyn O'Reilly collected a double-double scoring 13 and pulling down 11 rebounds. Morgan Allen also reached double-figures, scoring 10 on an 8-for-8 effort from the charity stripe. The Jags as a whole finished 27-of-30 from the free throw line.  It was the most free throws the Jaguars have made since hitting 27 against Purdue Fort Wayne on Jan. 4, 2015.

Oakland comes in to the game having won at Detroit Mercy the last time the Golden Grizzlies took the court, snapping an eight-game losing streak. Kahlaijah Dean led Oakland with 30 points, hitting 9-of-12 three point attempts and Taylor Jones added 21 points going 8-for-10 from the free throw line.
