QUICK NOTES (full game notes)
Jags Gets Past Milwaukee
- IUPUI won its first overtime game of the season after dropping its first three that went to an extra frame. The Jags lost their first Horizon League contest of the season in overtime against Wright State.
- IUPUI's 67 points and nine assists were the fewest in a win since a 64-59 victory over Indiana State on Dec. 3 when the Jags dished out just eight helpers.
- Sydney Roule has now hit four threes in back-to-back games and the third time the sophomore has hit four from deep this season.
- Macee Williams recorded her first double-double since a 20-point, 10-rebound effort at Southern Illinois on Dec. 21, the Jags last non-conference game.
- Williams 17 shot attempts were the most since firing up 21 at UTSA over the Thanksgiving break.
- IUPUI was outrebounded by Milwaukee 39-34. The Jags had won the rebounding battle in their last three games by at least 19. It was third win of the season for IUPUI when being outrebounded.
- For the first time in Horizon League play, 0-2 entering tonight, IUPUI won a game when trailing with five minutes left. The Jags were 2-7 overall before coming back to beating the Panthers when trailing at the five minute mark.
- IUPUI was 1-4 entering the game when trailing at halftime on the season and had only trailed at halftime in one other Horizon League game, the loss at Youngstown State.
- The Jags shot 39 percent from the field and allowed Milwaukee to shoot 40 percent. It is just the third time this season (3-6) that IUPUI has won a game shooting worse than their opponents.

Magic Number 70
- Scoring 70 points is an important sign for the Jags under head coach Austin Parkinson. In Parkinson's first eight seasons, IUPUI is 69-13 when hitting the 70-point mark. In those 13 losses, the most points scored by the Jags in regulation was 74 points. If IUPUI scores 75 points in regulation, the Jags are 58-0 under Parkinson.
- The most points ever scored in a loss by the Jags under Parkinson was 83 in a 96-83 overtime loss to Miami (Ohio) in 2017.
- IUPUI had won its last ten games when scoring at least 70 points before losing to Southern Illinois. IUPUI has since won four-straight when hitting the 70 points mark. Five of the six conference wins have come with IUPUI reaching 70 points.
