LEXINGTON, Ky. – The IUPUI men's tennis team beings it's season on Sunday (Jan. 13) with a trip to Kentucky. The match against the Wildcats will take place at 12 p.m.

Head coach Brandon Currie's squad will enter the spring season looking to capitalize on a fall that saw success from some of the newest Jaguars.

Freshmen Alex Jochim and Colton Morehart led the Jags in wins in the fall season with Jochim posting a 4-1 record and Morehart finishing 3-4. Bradley Luetschwager is back for his graduate year and finished 2-4 in tournament play in the fall. IUPUI will also look toward sophomores Sean Bailey and Ethan Mardanus-Budiono to help the depth of the lineup.

The Jags and the Wildcats met last season with Kentucky earning a 5-0 win over IUPUI. IUPUI will be looking for its first win in a spring season opener since a 6-1 win over Marian in 2014.
