KALAMAZOO, Mich. – IUPUI's women's tennis team fell 7-0 to Western Michigan on Saturday afternoon (Feb. 3).
 
After being named Horizon League Doubles Team of the Week last week, Valeriia Lavrenchuk and Krystal Grubb continued their winning ways picking up the only doubles win for the Jags. The duo earned a 6-4 win at the No. 1 doubles spot. Lavrenchuk and Grubb are currently 4-0 on the season at the No. 1 spot as a squad.
 
In singles action, Lavrenchuk and Grubb competed in the closest matches for the Jags. Lavrenchuk fell in her No. 1 singles match 6-2, 6-4 and Grubb lost the No. 2 singles match 6-4, 6-2.
 
IUPUI will return home to try to earn its first home win of the season with a double header on Friday, February 9. The first match of the day will be against Bowling Green at 9 a.m. and the afternoon match will see the Jags take on in-town foe Butler.
