INDIANAPOLIS – Coming off of a 4-3 win over Butler, IUPUI women's tennis will begin a stretch of six-straight road matches with two this weekend.
The Jags will head across town on Saturday (Feb. 17) to take on the University of Indianapolis at 1 p.m. After the match with the Greyhounds, IUPUI will head to Dayton to take on the Flyers on Sunday at 12 p.m.
IUPUI played both teams last season falling to Dayton 4-1 and UIndy 9-0.
Valeriia Lavrenchuk leads the Jaguars with three wins in the dual matches and seven wins on the season overall. Lavrenchuk is 3-3 in No. 1 singles this season.
Krystal Grubb and
Samantha Mayer are both second on the team with two singles wins each.
The team of Lavrenchuk and Grubb have been dominant this season as the duo is a perfect 6-0 in No. 1 doubles matches this year.
SCOUTING INDIANAPOLIS
The Greyhounds are 3-1 on the season with wins against both Valparaiso (6-3) and Butler (6-2). UIndy also won their last match, taking down Eastern Illinois by a score of 4-3. The only loss on the season so far came against Bowling Green. Alina Kislickaya is a perfect 4-0 on the season at the No. 3 singles match and Hanna Volikova is 3-1 at No. 1 singles.
SCOUTING DAYTON
Dayton comes in to the match with IUPUI with a 4-4 record, winning their last two matches. The Flyers will play both Austin Peay and Belmont before taking on IUPUI.
