INDIANAPOLIS – IUPUI women's basketball will face one of its toughest tests of the season as the Jags travel to Iowa City to take on the No. 16 ranked Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday (Nov. 8) at 3 p.m.
The Jags are coming off its best offensive shooting night of the season against Indiana State in a 64-59 win over the Sycamores last Monday (Dec. 3). Austin Parkinson's squad shot over 52 percent from the field for the game and shot over 80 percent in the first quarter.
Macee Williams led the team with 18 points, scoring in double-figures for every game this season.
Holly Hoopingarner was second on the team with 15 points and
Sydney Roule scored a career-high 14 points on 4-for-6 shooting from three point range.

The Jags have not played Iowa since 2002 when the Hawkeyes earned an overtime victory. Both teams come in to the game with 6-2 records on the season. The matchup against the Hawkeyes features two of the best centers in women's college basketball with Williams going up against Iowa's Megan Gustafson. Gustafson is averaging 23.4 points and 12.6 rebounds this season. Both players were named to the preseason Lisa Leslie Award Watch List for the best center in women's college basketball.
