VALPARAISO, Ind. – The IUPUI women's tennis team (1-10) will stay in-state and make a pair of short road trips as the Jags will face Valparaiso Friday (Feb. 24) followed by Indiana Saturday (Feb. 25).  The Jags recently opened up Summit League play with a 4-3 win over Omaha, their first dual-meet victory of the season.
 
This season, Valeriia Lavrenchuk has led her team with a 4-7 showing in dual-meet singles play, primarily operating out of the No. 1 spot.  She's also combined for a 3-8 record in doubles play. Samantha Mayer and Sara Sherif has been a solid doubles duo, going 2-3 in duals while holding a team-best 7-6 record overall. 
 
The Jags faced Valpo during the 2015-16 season, topping the Crusaders 5-2 in a home meet for the Jags.
