FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Fresh off of perhaps their most dramatic win of the season, the IUPUI women's basketball team (15-6, 5-3) will continue its Summit League schedule as the Jags venture north to battle Fort Wayne (4-17, 1-7) Saturday (Jan. 28) at 2 p.m. EST.  The Mastodons mark the final Summit League team the Jags have yet to face this season.
 
On Wednesday, the Jags went into Macomb, Illinois and pulled out a 76-72 win over Western Illinois.  Mikale Rogers put up 27 points and 15 rebounds in the game, while Jenna Gunn had a season-high 16 points and nine rebounds.  Danielle Lawrence also added 16 points, all of which came in the second half.
 
On the season, IUPUI is averaging 67.8 points per game on a .434 field-goal percentage.  The Jags are shooting .388 from three-point range, and are averaging 34.3 rebounds per game.  IUPUI has limited opponents to a Summit League-low 58.5 points.
 
Lawrence leads the team with 15.7 points per game on the season, upping her point totals to 16.6 against League foes.  Rogers averages 13.9 points and 7.7 rebounds, while Sydney Hall averages 10.6 points on a stellar .481 three-point clip. 
 
The Mastodons snapped a seven-game losing skid with a dramatic 65-62 victory over Omaha Wednesday night, earning their first win against Summit League opponents this season.  They're currently the last-place team in the League, and have averaged a League-low 57.6 points per game.  Despite the tough season, the 'Dons own a .792 percentage at the free-throw line, the second-best in the Summit League.  The Jags own a 16-11 all-time record against Fort Wayne, sweeping the 'Dons in both matchups last season.
