INDIANAPOLIS - Following a rough Ohio road trip with losses to Cleveland State, Dayton, and Toledo, the IUPUI men's tennis team looks to bounce back with their first home match in three weeks when the Jags host Valparaiso Saturday (Feb. 6).
The Crusaders come in to the match 2-2 on the season and won their last match 5-2 against Western Michigan. In singles play, junior Jeffrey Schorsch is 3-0 playing the No. 1 spot, and the No. 3 doubles pairing of Kyle Dunn and Chad Kissel are also undefeated at 3-0.
The last time the Jags were on the court they suffered a 5-2 defeat to Toledo. Against the Rockets,
Jose Calero and
Patrick McAuley both won singles matches in three sets.
The Jags and Crusaders met last year in Valparaiso, with Valpo coming out on top 5-2. The match against Valpo is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
