TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Continuing to thrive and demonstrate resiliency and balance in a variety of facets during a four-game winning streak, the IUPUI women's basketball team (4-1) will make the short trek west to Terre Haute, Indiana Wednesday (Nov. 30) as the Jags are slated to face Indiana State (3-3) at 5:30 p.m. EST.  The Jags have not lost since their season-opener against Northern Iowa, downing Oakland, Illinois-Chicago, Virginia Commonwealth and Georgia Southern during the stretch.

Currently, the Jags feature four players that are averaging double-digit points per game, while two other players are a point or less away from averaging double-digits.  As a team, the Jags are shooting .461 from the field, which includes a .383 clip from beyond the arc and a .741 line from the charity stripe.  Danielle Lawrence leads all players with a 14.2 points-per-game average, also logging 17 assists and 3.6 rebounds-per-game.  Mikale Rogers averages 13.2 points and a team-high 8.8 rebounds, also compiling 12 blocks.  Sydney Hall (12.8 ppg) and Caitlyn Tolen (10.8 ppg) are also averaging in double-figures.

In their recent bout with Georgia Southern, the Jags went off from long-range, setting a new program record for the most converted three-point shots in a single game with 16.  Six players finished with at least one triple and five players ended in double-digits.  Tolen and Lawrence led the charge with four three-pointers each, while Hall added three.  The big 83-57 victory marked the 100th career win for Head Coach Austin Parkinson, who broke the program record with his 98th victory against Illinois-Chicago, topping the old record of 97 set by Kris Simpson.

In three out of the Jags four wins this season, at least four players have scored in double-digits, as defensively IUPUI has limited its opposition to a .398 shooting clip.  Despite being plagued by turnovers early in the year, the Jags have pulled even in the turnover department, giving up 84 and forcing 84.  IUPUI is averaging 75.6 points-per-game, while maintaining a 14.2 point scoring advantage over opponents.

The Sycamores pulled back to .500 with an emphatic win over Eastern Illinois Monday (Nov. 28), winning 88-61.  Before the victory, Indiana State had lost three of its last four games, including a 48-77 drubbing by SEC opponent and next scheduled home opponent for IUPUI, Missouri.  The Sycamores average a .385 clip from the field, and have shot .295 from three-point range.  The team has given up 97 turnovers, while averaging 61.5 points-per-game.  The Jags are 4-9 lifetime against Indiana State, last facing the Sycamores on Dec. 1, 2015, in which IUPUI was victorious 68-43.  In that game, Lawrence finished with 10 points while Rogers picked up five blocks.
