TULSA, Okla. – The IUPUI men's tennis team looks to keep its perfect Summit League record in tact this weekend when it heads to Tulsa, Okla., to square off against Oral Roberts.
The Golden Eagles and Jags are scheduled to start at 1 p.m. ET. Saturday's meeting will be the first in three years between the two schools, with the Jaguars winning the last meeting, 6-1, back in 2012.
IUPUI went 1-2 last week posting a win against South Dakota State in between losses to UIC and No. 19 Northwestern. In singles play last week, the Jaguars were led by
Alex Toliver,
Adam Reinhart and
David Beasley as each posted 2-1 records.
In the Jaguars lone Summit League match against the Jackrabbits, their depth shined as it overcame a loss at No. 1 doubles by winning at the two and three positions before winning at five of the six singles spots to complete the 6-1 win.
Reinhart, Toliver, Beasley and
Akshay Verma all boast perfect league singles records through three matches.
