INDIANAPOLIS – A busy weekend is on tap for the IUPUI men's tennis team as it plays three matches in three days against the likes of UIC, South Dakota State and No. 19 Northwestern.
IUPUI hosts UIC on Friday, March 27, at 6:30 p.m., before closing out its homestand on Saturday, March 28, at Noon against Summit League foe South Dakota State. The Jags then make their way to Evanston, Ill., on Sunday, March 29, for a meeting with the Top-20 Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. ET.
The Jaguars have won three of their last four matches to improve to 6-11 overall, and their last win against Western Illinois kept them perfect in the conference with a 2-0 mark.
UIC is 3-8 on the season, but it is coming in with a 4-3 win over Oral Roberts in its last contest, while SDSU is 9-6. Saturday's match between the Jackrabbits and Jags will be South Dakota State's first league match. The Wildcats are 12-6 on the season, and they will play a pair of Top-50 opponents before hosting the Jags on Sunday.
Five of the Jaguars' six wins this season have come at home, including their last three.
Both home matches will take place at the West Indy Racquet Club.
