INDIANAPOLIS – Every game gets bigger as the regular-season progresses and with just four regular-season games remaining, the IUPUI women's basketball team faces a tough test on Thursday, Feb. 19, when it welcomes North Dakota State to The Jungle.

Thursday's game is set to tip at 7 p.m., and fans will be able to watch the game live on IUPUIJags.com. Morgan Adcock will have the call beginning just before tip.

IUPUI will be wearing its pink jerseys during the game to promote Breast Cancer Awareness. Fans are also encouraged to wear pink to support the cause.

The Jags suffered their first home conference loss on the season last Saturday dropping a 69-62 decision to Western Illinois, and IUPUI currently sits in fourth place in the conference standings with a 7-5 record. North Dakota State is 5-8 on the season in Summit League play, but it has dropped six straight games, including three by single digits.

Nevena Markovic and Akilah Sims lead IUPUI in scoring at 11.1 ppg and 10.6 ppg, respectively, but the duo has increased their production in Summit League action. Markovic is scoring 13.3 ppg in league action, and she has scored in double digits in nine of the 10 league games she has played in.

Sims is scoring 13.2 ppg in conference play, but 14.8 ppg over the last six games. Sims has been in double figures in each of the last seven games, which is the longest streak of double-figure scoring games in her career.

While Markovic and Sims have seen their production increase as the season had moved along, NDSU's Brooke LeMar has been atop the league's statistical rankings all year long in scoring and her 19.1 ppg in all games this season is second in the Summit League. LeMar's scoring average has risen to 19.8 ppg in league-only games, which ranks third. LeMar also does a great job distributing the basketball posting 4.4 apg.

North Dakota State leads the all-time series between the two schools, 9-8, after breaking IUPUI's four-game win streak in the series earlier this season with a 68-63 win over the Jags in Fargo, N.D., back on Jan. 8.

Fans should be advised that the Summit League Swimming and Diving Championships are also going on at the IUPUI Natatorium on Thursday evening and that it may take longer to park.
