  • The win broke up IUPUI's brief losing streak and improved their record to 20-8 overall and 10-3 in the conference. Omaha fell to 12-15 and 4-9 in conference.
  • Two of the Summit League's leading three-point shooters, Ericka House and Felicia Anderson, who have combined for 128 made 3-pointers coming into the game, shot 0-7 from range as Omaha shot a combined 1-11. Their only 3-point make came in the opening minutes.

  • It looked like trouble early for the Jaguars, falling behind 7-0 after a made 3-pointer from the Leathernecks. However, IUPUI exploded on offense at that point, scoring 22 in the ensuing 6:30. Omaha would score 22 in the entire half and trailed IUPUI by 11.

  • One more victory in the team's final game of the season would give the Jags a Division-I era record for most wins in a season.
