INDIANAPOLIS – It all comes down to the final weekend of the regular-season for the IUPUI volleyball team as it looks for its third straight Summit League regular-season title when it travels to Denver and South Dakota for a pair of Summit League contests.

Entering the final weekend, the Jags sit atop the conference standings at 12-2 and control their own destiny in terms of claiming an outright regular-season title. However, Denver and South Dakota sit just behind IUPUI in the standings at 11-3 and 12-3, respectively, and have conference title aspirations of their own.

"You work hard in the offseason and during the season to put yourself in situations like the one we have this weekend," head coach Steve Payne said. "Both Denver and South Dakota are great teams that are even better on their home floors. We have our work cut out for us, but we are excited for the challenge."

The Jags are coming off an impressive three-set win over Western Illinois on Tuesday, which extended their winning streak to 10 matches. Denver is coming off a five-set win at Oral Roberts on Sunday, while USD has won three in a row.

The Pioneers and Coyotes enter the final weekend of the regular-season as the two best offensive teams in the conference with Denver putting down 14.30 kps at a .284 clip and South Dakota posting 14.38 kps at a .258 percentage. On the other side of the net, IUPUI ranks at the top of the league in opponent hitting percentage forcing the opposition to a .183 hitting percentage.

Offensively, each team boasts firepower highlighted by three individuals that rank in the Top-4 in the league in kills. Denver's Nola Basey is second in the league in kills at 4.28 kps, followed by Kaitlyn Hickey at 4.16 kps and USD's Kendall Kritenbrink at 4.14 kps.

In other statistical categories, Denver's Sarah Schmid leads the conference in hitting percentage at .407, while Meredith Farkas is the league leader in aces at 0.43 sa/s. Beth Howard also leads the conference in digs at 4.53 dps.
