INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Jaguars will travel to Dayton, Ohio this Saturday (2/1) to play Wright State in their only match this weekend.
IUPUI began the season with consecutive 1-2 weekends leaving them with a 2-4 record headed into this Saturday's match. The team has had mixed results overall, including a 7-0 win and a 6-1 loss, but the play at the top of the lineup has been consistent.
Alex Toliver and
Jason Jaruvang, who have split time at No. 1 and 2 singles, have a combined 7-4 singles record.
Thomas Gans and
Jacob Bradley are each 4-2 and share the lead in singles victories with Toliver.
The teams last played each other in March with the Raiders taking a 5-2 victory. Jaruvang won his match at No. 1 singles and Bradley lost his at No. 5 in a close fifth set.
Wright State has only played one match so far this spring, defeating SIU Edwardsville 4-1.
Their match this Saturday will start at 3:30 p.m. at the South Regency Tennis Center in Dayton.
